FAQ

What drew you to Fallout and what made you fall in love with the franchise?

I started playing Fallout with the release of Fallout 3.  My collection also started at the same time with the Fallout 3 Survival Collectors Edition.  You see Fallout brought me out of a dark place. It Really gave me something to grab ahold of during a deep depression. I’ve met friends just being able to share our love for the game. I think that’s why I have taken so hard to collecting. I owe a lot to the franchise and truly do cherish the games, TV series and the collectibles bring me a lot of joy as well.

Where/how do you find inspiration for some of the things that you make?

I grew up without much and I used to take things apart to entertain myself.  I think I still try to find ways to repurpose things into what I like even though there is official merchandise, and I am in a position to purchase it.

If you had all the time and money in the world, what would your dream Fallout project be?

I would create a real-life vault and open it as a hotel so that all of the fans of Fallout can come and immerse themselves into a real life underground vault experience.

Why do you have ration cans?

There are many layers to my Fallout collection.  Collecting the official licensed collectibles has sent me down a rabbit hole of also collecting items from the atomic age that relates to the Fallout franchise.   This includes a collection of emergency food and water rations, uranium glass, vintage Geiger counters, and all types of items and memorabilia relating to the atomic bomb.  I have always had an interest in history, particularly the atomic age making my love of Fallout even stronger.

Do you accept fan mail?

I do have a P.O. Box!

If you would like to contribute with fan mail to help me decorate my fallout shelter the address is posted below.  If you are not sure what to send, I would love anything fun or creative fallout related.  If you have something you would like to say in a letter or draw or make I would love to add any pictures to my wall or art to my shelf. Absolutely no skill level required.  I love it all!
